About the enterprise

Open Joint Stock Company “Lida meat-packing plant” works on Belarusian meat foods market since 1945. The enterprise was founded on the basis of slaughterhouse opened in 1939.

The enterprise was repeatedly reconstructed and enhanced during its action period. New sausage department was opened in 2005. Its opening allowed the production of damp dried, dried and summer sausage.

New climate chambers which were installed in June of 2007 provided the application of new technologies in sausage production and allowed to release new kinds of products.

The enterprise prepares to launch the operation of new liver department which will enrich the range of by-products, liver sausage, paste, brawn etc.

Nowadays the assortment product list of Lida meat processing and packing plant contains more than 200 items namely meat and meat by-products, sausage products, semi-prepared foods and edible fat. Besides edible meat products the enterprise sells feed for animals, technical and feed fat, intestinal and endocrine raw materials, large horned animal and pig skins.

The largest specific weight in production volume belongs to meat, by-products and sausage goods.

Enterprise facility allows producing 36 tons of meat and by-products and 6 tons of sausage goods per shift. The enterprise produces more than 100 kinds of products daily. Domestic meat raw materials being purchased from the farms of Grodno region are used to produce sausage goods and semi-finished products.

The enterprise has implemented the international system of quality management ISO 9001-2001 in 2006.

In 2009 4 trade names of boiled sausage produced by Lida meat processing and packing plant were awarded by diploma of the social contest “The best product of the year 2006”.
